Stop Making Lunches!!

Imagine for a second you never had to make
lunches for the children again. Imagine if school looked after lunches like when I went to school everyone got a free bottle of milk for morning tea, or better still the tuck shop just looked after it.Well, we know that’s not going to happen.I know a mum who was putting little chocolates
in her sons lunch box, making beautiful ham or
chicken and salad sandwiches.

In fact this little guy loved lamingtons, so with
her loving hands, she actually hand made the
lamingtons, put jam in the middle because that
was his favourite and wrapped them with tender loving care.

When he turned 18, the lunch box came home
untouched.  Lamingtons and sandwiches squashed
and uneaten.

This mum had been making his sandwiches for nearly
14 years, and suddenly one day they came home
uneaten.

Guess what happened?  This beautiful
young lady in the pie van was visiting his work
site and he just had to buy her pies and vanilla
slices, and wash it down with a Breaker iced coffee.

The young lad above above lost interest in the
young girl in the pie van as it was costing him
around one third of what it would cost to make
house repayments each month, so he got back to
home made sandwiches.

This time, however, he had to make them himself !

He’d burnt out his welcome with mums sandwiches,
While he didn’t hand make his own lamingtons,
he did continue making his ham or chicken salad
sandwiches, and even tossed in a piece of fruit.

The point is that our children will grow up, they
will end up fending for themselves, and they will
need to do it on their own.

Our job as parents is to start the important habits
that will move into our children’s lives when they
leave us.

They’re not with us for a long time!

Sorry for the stark truth of parenting, however we make
the total difference in those very short years.

If you want to give your children and teenagers
an experience that will stick with them for the
rest of their lives then click on the following link
and enrol them now.

The experience will:

** challenge them in a way they will tell their
children about

*** help them face their inner doubt about themselves
and see they can actually stand on their own 2 feet

**** give you a chance to sit back and watch the
wonderful growth experience you’ve given your child
