Hanmadang Delivers Excellence

The traditional Hanmadang – a technical festival of Korean Martial Arts – has at its core purpose to encourage, nurture and challenge the persuit of excellence in the many disciplines of the traditional Korean Martial Arts. The final published results of the Factor10 Martial Arts Technical Hanmadang held on Saturday 18 June are testament of what children, teenagers and adults can do when they apply themselves in an environment that that focusses on excellence.

Factor10 Martial Arts Brisbane Pathways to Success

So where did my journey begin? Well it’s just what I imagined it could be back in 1973 when I trained in some blokes back yard in Karate – I think his name was Alex – a guy who was so proud of his achievements as a Martial Arts expert and in particular in Karate. He trained under a Japanese Master near the Story Bridge on Brisbane’s river side and hung out with the guys who I hung out with in Sherwood and Graceville in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
