We’re just 2 days away from the Factor10 Yellow Jacket tournament. All is going to plan with over 60 registration across all age groups starting at 6 years. We have 23 officials who have registered on line as referees, marshalls, corner judges, computer operators and court managers. They will be doing a dry run of the event this Friday evening from 6.15pm to make sure things run smoothly on the day.
We are extending a very special welcome to clubs who are participating in the Yellow Jacket for the first time. We welcome Frank Frost Taekwondo, Team Taekwondo, Caboolture Taekwondo, Maleny Taekwondo and Ki Taekwondo from Kenilworth and San Taekwondo. Clubs who are great old mates who have participated before include Kicks Taekwondo, Tans Taekwondo, Bjorns Taekwondo and Rawlins Taekwondo.
Members from Factor10 Strathpine are so excited to have the opportunity to compete with so many great friends from across south East Queensland.
Our thoughts go out to Denise Palmley and her club members from Townsville who contacted us to say they could not accept our invitation because of the devastating weather in North and Far North Queensland delivered by Cyclone Yasi. Our thoughts are with you guys up there Denise.
We are still taking registrations for the Yellow Jacket tournament until Thursday with a provisional draw being posted on Thursday evening to this website.
A brief update was issued yesterday to registrants of the Yellow Jacket Tournament and you can click here to view that last update. Of course participant numbers have increased since we did that update.
